“Lei, Xiao Lei* ate so much!” the little girl said happily.

“Ugh, I’ve told you so many times not to call the dog Xiao Lei. Every time I hear it, I get uncomfortable,” the young man protested.

“No, I like that name,” the little girl said, hugging the puppy.

“Alright, then. How about calling the dog Lei Li?” The young man grinned mischievously.

“Lei Li?”

“Yeah, doesn’t it sound nice? From now on, it’ll be Lei Li. That’s decided.” the young man said, tapping the puppy’s head lightly.

The puppy immediately barked.
